This sleek, highly durable concrete kerb system has been incorporated into highway schemes up and down the UK. British Standard Kerb uses hydraulic pressing in the manufacture of standard natural kerb, channel and edging to provide consistent long-term performance.
Our hydraulically pressed paving flags are available in a variety of sizes 450 x 450 x 50 mm, 600 x 600 x 50 mm, 600 x 750 x 50 mm & 900 x 600 x 50 mm.
Hydraulically pressed Concrete Paving has an anti-slip pattern on the surface to reduce the risk of slipping and increase pedestrian safety. Ideal for high volume pedestrian areas as well as vehicle and mechanical sweeper overrun.

Our kerbs are 913mm in length with the most commonly used being the half-battered profiles which provide a check element sufficient to warn motorists that they are close to the edge of the carriageway. They are normally used where a footpath is provided adjacent to the carriageway.
